Dear students,
If you performed service hours between April 1, 2018 and today, the Office of Student Life (OSL) will review and approve/send back your submissions on Knight Life between now and Friday, October 12th. After October 12th, all service hours must be submitted within 30 days of their occurrence, so please submit all of your service hours as soon as possible.
OSL has developed the following guidelines and instructions for how to report service hours specifically for Clarkson students. These guidelines are developed within the framework of the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. View the guidelines and instructions here.
As an incentive to report your service hours, OSL, the Dean of Students, and the Institute for a Sustainable Environment (ISE) are partnering to sponsor a semester contest with winners to be announced in December!
Organizations
1st place: $50 plus $100 to the charity of your choice
2nd place: $25 plus $50 to the charity of your choice
3rd place: $15 plus $30 to the charity of your choice
Individuals
1st place: $25 plus $50 to the charity of your choice
2nd place: $15 plus $30 to the charity of your choice
3rd place: $10 plus $20 to the charity of your choice
OSL strongly encourages students and student organizations to report their community service hours in Knight Life. The University relies on this important data when conducting annual reports, such as STARS. Thank you for your continued efforts to serve the community!
