The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: Tips for Evaluating Sources Workshop on Oct. 24

Dear Clarkson Faculty and Staff,

The Clarkson University Libraries will continue our fall workshop series on Oct. 24 at 5pm in Rowley Lab 142 or remotely by Adobe Connect with The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: Tips for Evaluating Sources. (To attend remotely please click here.)

Geared toward students, this workshop will answer questions such as what is the difference between a scholarly source and a news source? What is peer review? How do I evaluate sources I find on the web?

This workshop will help answer these questions and ensure your students are using the best sources for their next research project.

Other planned workshop topics include:

  • Getting Published & Avoiding Predatory journals
  • Finding images and multi-media for presentations
