United Way Campaign starts today and runs through December 21, 2018.
The United Way of Northern New York serves Lewis, Jefferson, and St Lawrence Counties by providing grants to non-profit organizations. What you might not know is that all money donated in St Lawrence County stays in St Lawrence County. The exception is our colleagues at Clarkson Regional Campus. Clarkson University will receive the credit but their donation will go to the United Way of Central New York.
How does giving work? You have options when you give. If you just want to give and do not care where the money goes, then your donation will go to one of 19 non-profits. Your second option is to donate to a specific non-profit organization listed. Finally, you do have the option of giving to an organization not supported by the United Way, for a small processing fee.
