Clarkson University Libraries Spring Workshop Series Continues Wednesday, Feb. 13

Dear Clarkson Faculty and Staff,

The Clarkson University Libraries spring workshop series continues Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 5pm in Rowley 142 or remotely via Adobe Connect with Papers are Coming: Prepare for Your Research Project. At student request, this workshop will have a special Saturday encore Saturday, Feb. 16 at 11am in Rowley 142.

Getting started on your first research project or unsatisfied with the research results you have found? This workshop will discuss how to get started on a research project, the basics of using library databases, how to best use the results you find, and how to get one-on-one help with your research.

Future workshops will include:

  • The Citation Secret Weapon: Zotero
  • Diving into Primary Sources: Government Information for Humanities
  • Diving into Primary Sources: Government Information for Science & Engineering
  • Diving into Primary Sources: Government Information for Business
  • Pirates and Trolls, Oh My! Copyright & Patent 101

Please consider offering your students extra credit for attending one or more sessions. Email Lisa Hoover at lhoover@clarkson.edu to have attendance taken.
