This Forbes recognition focuses on the highest quality schools with the best financial outcomes.  It is based upon an evaluation of alumni earnings, net price, net student debt, school quality, timely graduation and access for low-income students. The list includes both public and private institutions offering four-year degrees.

“Most students and their families are interested in value over prestige,” Forbes says in the report. “This cohort is the definitive guide for those looking for an excellent return on one of the most important investments of their lives.”

Forbes compared data from 645 schools across the nation. Schools were included based on their places in the Forbes 2018 America’s Top Colleges ranking, net student debt, net price, alumni earnings, six-year graduation rate and percentage of Pell Grant recipients.

Clarkson has also been named one of Forbes’ Top 25 STEM Colleges, and ranked a Best Value College, tops among career placement, one of the nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education, and one of the best Northeastern Colleges by the Princeton Review this year.
