Barbara Parker, Assistant to the President
Barbara was recognized by her peers, who commented, “Barb is always putting the customer first, whether that is a staff member, faculty, student, parent, or friend to the University; she greets them with a smile and warmth and always finds a way to assist them in terms of answering questions or directing them to who can best help.”
“Barb is the epitome of service excellence. She is always welcoming to any one who steps into the Presidents office and takes time out of her hectic schedule to talk with you and put you at ease. She does an amazing job of balancing the rigors of the President’s office.”
“Every interaction that I have had with Barb has been informative, pleasant, and helpful. She is always upbeat and friendly. Her dedication to President Collins and Clarkson are to be commended. She makes difficult situations seem easy! I will truly miss working with her and have learned so much from her.”
Barbara was recognized earlier this month at a retirement party to celebrate her years of dedicated service to Clarkson.
