Today’s ever-changing economy requires well-trained professionals to plan and manage all activities through which products and services are created and distributed to customers. To meet this need, Clarkson University is offering a new specialized Master of Science degree in Supply Chain Management. Supply chain management is one of the core competencies of the Reh School of Business, as our undergraduate supply chain management program has been ranked Top 20 in the nation for 15 years by the U.S. News & World Report. The online Master of Science in Supply Chain Management is an interdisciplinary program designed for professionals who strive to gain advanced expertise needed to lead companies to world-class supply chain management status. It provides an integrated set of learning opportunities for those interested in becoming proficient in effectively managing complex supply chains. The program prepares graduates to be purchasing managers, supply managers, or directors of materials management.
The program is the first online MS in Supply Chain Management program offered in the State of New York that is designed for working professionals. As a very important differentiator, the program will offer synchronous component in each class with heavily emphasizing the personal interaction of the learning experience, which has been proved to be the essential success factor of the Clarkson’s highly ranked Online MBA program (#70 in Best Online MBA Programs by U.S. News). The program has 30 credits and an expected completion time of one year. The university will see the first cohort of the program in June 2020.
