Clarkson University Libraries Undergraduate Workshop

Dear Clarkson Faculty and Staff,

REMINDER: The Clarkson University Libraries will host our last undergraduate workshop of the semester tomorrow at 5pm in CAMP 178 or via Adobe Connect with Becoming Data Literate. Click here to add this session to your Google calendar. Please consider offering your students extra credit to attend.

Data and numbers can be intimidating, but they don’t need to be! Some of us tune out when we hear numbers, or assume that anyone using data must be correct, but the reality is more complicated. In this workshop, learn how to spot problematic statistics, the difference between causation and correlation, how to critique a graph, and how to analyze polling data.

For more details or to view recordings of past workshops visit: https://libguides.library.clarkson.edu/c.php?g=844642&p=6037049

Email Lisa Hoover at lhoover@clarkson.edu to have attendance taken for extra credit.
