COV19 Staff/Faculty Preventative Behaviors

Dear Campus Community,

We want to remind you that if you are sick you need to stay home.

As more cases of COVID19 appear in New York State, it is important that employees recognize if they may have the symptoms described as fever, cough, shortness of breath by the CDC and call their health care provider for guidance. The CDC has some helpful information: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/steps-when-sick.html

If you are concerned about not having enough sick time to cover staying home or if you are out of sick time, please contact Human Resources at 315.268.2222.

Throughout our campus operations, we are actively promoting the CDC’s counsel on everyday preventive behaviors.  If you are sick, stay home. Cover coughs and sneezes. Frequently wash hands with soap and water. Keep hands away from your face and clean frequently touched surfaces.

We are also telling our community and guests that it is okay to suspend social etiquette practices such as eliminating handshakes and personal contact when greeting others.
