2020 Research and Excellence Awards

The 4th Annual Research and Projects Showcase (RAPS) and the Research & Excellence Award Presentation was hosted together virtually this year on April 24 -26.

The University honored faculty and staff members for their excellence in research and scholarship for the Fiscal Year 2019. The honorees will include Million and Multi-Million Dollar Club inductees, Clarkson Lifetime Achievement in Research and Scholarship Award recipient, Clarkson Excellence in Research and Scholarship Award recipient, and Clarkson Distinction in Faculty Mentoring for Research and Scholarship Award recipient. 

The Million Dollar Club recognizes those whose investigations and scholarship activities have been supported with one million dollars or more in externally sponsored funding, and the Multi-Million Dollar Club honors faculty and staff with five million dollars or more in externally sponsored funding.

The virtual presentation also recognized those individuals who were first time grant recipients for the Fiscal Year 2019 and announced those who had patents issued for the Fiscal Year 2019. Award recipients were recognized via a pre-recorded video from Provost Hannigan and AVP for Research and Technology Transfer Shannon Robinson.
