Final grading reminder

A reminder about final grades, and the undergraduate Pass/No Credit option: Faculty are asked to submit their final grades by 9am on Friday, May 15th. Grades shall be posted by noon that day. Once grades are posted, undergraduate students will be given the opportunity to convert individual letter grades to a Pass (C or higher) or a No Credit (C- or lower). Students will have until 12pm (noon) on May 20th to make their decision.(Graduate students will be contacted by their academic department if any alternative grading models will be used).

Students should log into myCU and select the Academic Records and Grades tile on their Knight Hub homepage. After selecting the Spring 2020 term, students will be able to view their grades, and opt into Pass/No Credit grading on a course by course basis.  View this document for step by step instructions. Please note that some courses may not qualify for Pass/No Credit grading – please be sure to read the FAQs, looking specifically for “Are there any restrictions that would prevent me from converting a grade to Pass/No Credit?
The decision to convert a letter grade to Pass/No Credit should not be made lightly, as it could impact factors such as term honors, financial aid, or future enrollment in graduate programs. For a summary of changes to academic policies for Spring 2020, please view this announcement.
