Clarkson’s Dr. Dana Barry Has Another Book Published

Clarkson Research Professor Dana Barry recently had a book published by Springer Nature. Her book (Formation and Control of Biofilm in Various Environments) was published in February 2020. It introduces bacteria / biofilm and provides valuable, detailed information for the detection, evaluation, and control of bacteria in various environments.

Dr. Dana Barry displays her four Springer Nature textbooks published during a five-year time period (2015-2020).

She also has three papers (that relate to e-learning) accepted for publication in September 2020, by Elsevier’s Procedia Computer Science. In addition, Dr. Barry is preparing a manuscript called Teaching during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The titles of the three accepted papers are provided.

Dr. Barry’s main collaborator and coauthor for this work is Professor Hideyuki Kanematsu from KOSEN’s National Institute of Technology, Suzuka College in Japan. Together (as coauthors) they have about 100 publications including four Springer Nature textbooks that were released during a five-year time period.

Dr. Dana Barry is a Research Professor in Clarkson University’s Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, an Instructional Support Assistant at SUNY Canton, Scientific Board President and Professor for Ansted University, and a Chemistry Ambassador and officer for the American Chemical Society. She has five graduate degrees, numerous honors, and close to 300 professional publications.
