Clarkson Commitment, Student Wellness Plan, and Early Drop-Off Information

Dear Students,

The Division of Student Affairs is excited to welcome you back to Clarkson for the start of the 2020-2021 academic year.

Prior to August 10, all students (including residential, non-residential, graduate, and online only students), will need to complete the Clarkson Commitment and Student Wellness Plan which will be available on the To-Do List in the student’s myCU account. The Clarkson Commitment and Student Wellness Plan will be available beginning July 9, 2020.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Dean of Students at deanofstudents@clarkson.edu.

———–THE PORTION BELOW APPLIES ONLY TO RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS———–

All room assignments for those who participated in the Housing Lottery or completed a Housing Questionnaire are now finished. You can access your housing information in your student myCU account.

All students and families are invited to participate in the Early Drop-Off process starting July 22 and ending on July 29. Except for students residing in Price Hall (Farrisee, Orsmby, and Thomas) and those traveling from states under NYS travel advisory, it will be the choice of you and your family whether you will participate in the Early Drop-Off process. If you decide to participate in the Early Drop-Off process, please see the information below.

Students who do not participate in the Early Drop-Off will move in August 16 and 17 (First Year Students, Transfer Students, Out-of-State/International Students) or August 18 (Returning Students, Out-of-State/International Students). Student Move-In will be curbside; only Clarkson University students will be permitted to enter University facilities. Because families and guests are not permitted during student move-in, the University strongly recommends that students participating in Early Drop-Off bring at that time most or all items they intend to have in their residence hall.
