Eduroam is now available on campus

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has recently implemented eduroam. This network has replaced ClarksonSecure as the University’s primary authenticated/encrypted Wi-Fi option and brings several benefits to end-users and behind-the-scenes.

Instructions for connecting to eduroam can be found here: https://confluence.clarkson.edu/x/qAB1

eduroam is a global wireless network access service available at over 12,000 locations worldwide, including more than 530 colleges, universities, and research facilities in the United States.

OIT encourages the use of eduroam for several reasons:

  • Your traffic will be encrypted during wireless transport
  • You will be able to access wired devices in your on-campus residence or office, wirelessly, from anywhere on campus
  • You will be able to connect to participating institutions’ eduroam networks without any further configuration

Please feel free to contact us for additional information or assistance.

Sincerely,
