Joshua Bennett Appointed Assistant Professor of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Clarkson University

Joshua Bennett has been appointed assistant professor of chemical & biomolecular engineering and laboratory director at Clarkson University.

He received his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and his bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University.

Bennett fills a newly created teaching track and laboratory manager position in the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering. The unique teaching position will oversee and enhance the undergraduate laboratory experience.

Bennett, who has taught hundreds of students, was previously head advisor and lecturer in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign — a department of more than 700 students–, and a lecturer at Rice University.

He has co-published in Chemistry–A European Journal, among other papers and presentations.
