Welcome back to “Your CUSA News”

Welcome Back to Your CUSA News!

Since its formation, Clarkson University Student Association has sought best to represent and advocate for Clarkson’s student body. Each year we as students face new challenges and gather new ideas, this year will be no exception. There is unfortunately no guidebook on how best to navigate through our upcoming semester, but by facing it together we can make it as successful as possible. CUSA is choosing to move forward to greater transparency and community, weekly CUSA News will be our start.

Our new executive board along with all of our newly or re-elected senate board members want you to know what is happening at all of our CUSA Senate meetings and behind the scenes as well. Clarkson University’s Student Association or CUSA meets every week at 7 pm on Mondays. This meeting typically takes place in the MPR’s in the Student Center but due to restrictions this year, we will be conducting our meetings remotely. All are still welcome to attend as our meetings are open to everyone, including committee meetings which will have a set schedule in the near future posted on our Knight life page. If you are interested in attending any CUSA meetings please reach out to our CUSA Public Relation’s Coordinator, Bailee Underwood. She would happily get you all the information you need to join our virtual meetings.

Maybe CUSA meetings aren’t for you?We want all students to have an equal opportunity to know what is happening on campus during our meetings. Below is a section labeled Keeping Up with CUSA. Here you will be able to find any information that was voted on or discussed in any of our meetings.

We also encourage you to check out our meeting notes that will be uploaded to Knight life for anyone to view.

Student Organization Spotlight!

Do You Want to be Featured?!
OSL is collecting photos and testimonials from a variety of student clubs and organizations to be featured on the OSL Instagram page in a “Student Organization Spotlight”.
We will be posting on Instagram every week over the summer and are hoping to continue throughout the fall 2020 semester, to help incoming and returning students learn more about the different organizations on campus as well as how to get involved.
If you would like your organization to be featured in a spotlight, please send me a description of the club with your social media name, 1-2 testimonials from your members about what the club does (for the caption) as well as 3-5 insta-inspiring pictures.
To check out our most recent student organization spotlight, please visit our Instagram page @clarksonu.osl.
