COVID-19 ACT: IF YOU ARE A RESIDENT OF RIVERSIDE APT. OR QUAD RESIDENCE HALLS –GO TO CHEEL AND THEN RETURN TO YOUR RESIDENCE. Further Direct Information Coming.

Residents of the Quad Residence Halls (Cubley-Reynold-Ross-Brooks) and Riverside Apartments are being asked to report to Cheel for testing and then shelter in place in their residences effective immediately.

Students who live in the locations identified above who have already been tested today should also return to their residences to shelter in place.

Staff are in the process of contacting the occupants of these residence halls who have not already tested today with instructions to go to Cheel Arena this afternoon/this evening (before 6:30pm) for COVID-19 testing.  Testing done tonight will be driven directly to the labs for processing and will determine our next steps with these students.

This comprehensive precautionary step is being taken based on results from wastewater surveillance results today from both of these complexes that included SARS-CoV-2 markers.

Shelter in place means that residents will not attend classes or activities in person and should access all courses remotely from their residences and strictly adhere to health and safety protocols.  As this is a precautionary shelter in place, residents may order food from the dining halls and go to collect these to-go meals.
