Clarkson Community,
As many members of the Clarkson community watched events unfold today in Washington, D.C., we were saddened and dismayed at the assault on our nation’s democracy as well as concerned for the personal safety of those serving our country.
It is my strong belief that for us to prepare global leaders and to make a meaningful difference in this world, we need to see today as an opportunity to band together with our shared Clarkson values, no matter our political beliefs or differences.
In our personal interactions with true intention and commitment to listen to each other, it can be a time to solve problems peacefully with understanding for the views of others. We are Golden Knights and together we can defend and uphold our Nation’s democratic principles.
