COVID-19 Read: Weekend Case Update

In this communication:

  • Positive Case and Quarantine Updates
  • Please Keep Wearing Your Mask in All Public Spaces On & Off
  • Do the Right Thing

Golden Knights,

Positive Case and Quarantine Updates: We have had five positive tests results reported to us today.  This includes people who have been completing mandatory quarantines off campus and reporting results of testing required to return to campus. None of these cases have attended in person class.   With these results, the University Care Team Members are now supporting 36 students both on and off-campus with an active case status and 90 who remain in public-health mandated quarantine both on and off campus.

Please Keep Wearing Your Mask In Public

When you are in a public space on or off campus and when beyond your immediate family unit, please wear your mask (over mouth and nose)  and accept this guidance when others ask you to abide by this protocol.

Do the Right Thing

Clarkson Golden Knights, you have truly risen to the occasion following our precautionary self-quarantine that was lifted this past week with the return to in person labs and classes.  As we go into this weekend, we need everyone to keep doing the right thing as COVID-19 is in our greater community and we need everyone on the same team.

“I follow three rules: Do the right thing, do the best you can, and always show people you care.” Lou Holtz

Please keep completing the daily screening tool in your routine, wearing a mask over nose and mouth, practicing social distancing and using good hand hygiene.
