In this communication

  • New Positive Cases & Quarantine Update
  • Student Emergency Relief Fund

Golden Knights,

New Positive Cases & Quarantine Update:  Our University Care Team Members are currently supporting 20 students with an active COVID-19 case and supporting 89 students in public health mandated quarantines.  Two positive cases were reported today.

Student Emergency Relief Fund: As shared earlier today in campus announcements, if you are struggling, please reach out for help. The pandemic has created many challenges for the Clarkson community. Clarkson’s Emergency Relief Fund has been used to assist students in need with expenses related to:

  • Food insecurity
  • Basic needs
  • Unexpected travel costs
  • Medical bills
  • Etc

To apply for emergency relief funds, as 150 other students have already done, please visit the Dean of Students intranet page and then find the Student Emergency Fund Request Form under the Commonly Used Forms section. Please note that requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The University will not reimburse for lodging costs related to quarantine.  While on the Dean of Students webpage, please also take a few minutes to learn about other services and resources available such as the Student Health and Counseling Center, Office of Accessibility Services, and the SafetyNet Reporting Form.

Golden Knights, please follow the protocols to stop the spread and support each other to get us to the end of the semester and beyond. If you have any questions about this communication, please contact clarksonhr@clarkson.edu (employees),  studentaffairs@clarkson.edu (students) and/or me.
