COVID-19 Case & Quarantine Update: There were no new COVID-19 cases reported today to the University. The Care Team is now supporting 11 students with active COVID-19 cases on and off campus, and 68 students in quarantine. We wish them all good health.
Vaccinations: Summer break is coming up fast. Getting vaccinated before leaving campus in May is a big step to restoring normalcy on campus when you return in the fall. There is still time to get this scheduled before the end of the semester.
- For the SUNY Potsdam Vaccination site, go to: https://am-i-eligible.covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/ — college students are eligible in New York regardless of what state you call home. Use your Clarkson address and bring your Clarkson ID. This location uses Pfizer, which requires a second dose three weeks after the first dosage.
- Several local pharmacies are posting appointments as they get inventory so you may need to check back frequently and confirm which vaccine they are carrying. Walgreens: https://www.walgreens.com/findcare/vaccination/covid-19/location-screening and Walmart thttps://www.walmart.com/cp/1228302?search_redirect=true&redirect_query=vaccine&redirectQuery=vaccine&typeahead=va are posting appointments as they get inventory.
