COVID-19 Read: Mask Policies for Indoors

In June, New York State lifted all COVID-19 restrictions that impact our University operations, with the exception of those in our healthcare settings and mask mandates.

Current mask wearing policies for indoors are posted at the entrances to buildingsUnvaccinated individuals continue to be responsible for wearing masks in accordance with CDC guidance.  All members of the Clarkson community are expected to carry a mask with them at all times and to wear one when asked by someone near you wearing a mask.  Among vaccinated individuals in group settings, we should still obtain mutual agreement among all parties within these campus interactions to confirm mask wearing.

Respect for our community members and compliance is on the honor system, subject to code of conduct inquiries if individuals are found not to adhere to posted information.
