The Clarkson University Libraries welcome Katherine Moss as Collection Management Librarian. Katherine was most recently the Head of Reference, Instruction and Outreach and an Associate Professor at The College of Saint Rose’s Neil Hellman Library.
Moss’s role as Head of Reference, Instruction and Outreach involved working as a library liaison with various campus departments and working closely with faculty and database vendors. She particularly enjoys working directly with students. She looks forward to developing similar relationships at Clarkson.
Moss had served at Saint Rose in various positions since 1998. In addition to her reference and instruction roles, Moss served on several committees at Saint Rose, including the Undergraduate Research Award Committee, Admissions & Retention Management Committee, and the Liberal Education Coordinating Committee.
In addition, Moss has presented several workshops related to libraries and has served in several professional library organizations including the Capital District Library Council, the Eartern New York Chapter of the Association of College & Research Libraries, and the New York Library Association.
She received her Master’s in Library Science and her Bachelor’s in English from the University at Albany.
