Workshop on Agent-Based Models (ABMs) in Biological Systems: October 22nd – 23nd, 2021

Come learn about the diverse applications of ABMs in biology, including modeling disease spread through populations, fires spreading through forests, swarming patterns in animals, the formation of structures like microtubules in cells, and much more. We’ll hear from invited expert speakers, and work through tutorials where you will get first-hand experience creating and exploring your own computer simulation models. This workshop is aimed primarily at students, but all are welcome! No prior experience with math modeling or coding is necessary.
