Dear Students;
Please help Clarkson divert food from the landfill.
If you live on campus in an apartment (Woodstock, Town Houses, Riverside) you can participate in Clarkson’s Food Waste Diversion program. Please contact Anwesha Das (andas@clarkson.edu) to check out a green kitchen compost bucket.
We will provide information regarding what can be put in the bin along with the locations of the centralized collection sites. Clarkson has compost tumblers around the apartments which help with the collection of food waste that is then composted to help reduce the waste going to landfills. These green bins must be returned at the end of the school year or your account will be charged.
