From this pool of applicants, the Shipley Center will select a maximum of ten projects to participate in this in-person event on November 9th and give a 10-minute pitch.  The first half of this pitch will focus on the problem that you are addressing, the solution that you have developed, competitive landscape, and the current status of your project.  In the second half of the pitch you will describe what the funding will be used for, highlighting the commercial opportunities that these activities will open up.

Five independent judges will then deliberate and decide how to apportion the available prize money.  During this deliberation, each of the ten participants will be asked to staff a table for their project in order to provide an opportunity for audience members, including invited guests, alumni, and resource partners, to ask questions, offer advice, and make valuable connections.

Please consider applying for this exciting networking and funding opportunity!  If you have any questions or concerns please contact Ashley Sweeney or Jamey Hoose.

This event is made possible through the generous support of NYSTAR, the North Country Innovation Hot Spot, and the Shipley Center endowment.
