ADK Semester project/class call for proposals

The Adirondack Semester is accepting proposals for the Integrated Research Project (IRP) and classes for the Adirondack Semester for Fall 2022 and FAll 2023. If you are interested in leading an IRP or proposing a class please fill out this short google form. The ADK Semester Committee will make decisions on the projects in November. 

Example schedule of courses over a semester, Fall 2018:

These are block classes. The IRP is a consistent theme throughout the entire semester but IRP work is weighted toward the last 6 weeks of the program.

Teaching as a pair is possible. In one case the IRP was co-taught be a faculty member and his PhD student. Teaching in the ADK Semester must be approved by your chair or dean. Proposals are assessed in terms of their overall fit with the other four courses and/or the IRP.
