Zoom Single Sign-On Coming January 3, 2022

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) announces that beginning on January 3, 2022, all Clarkson Zoom users are required to select single sign-on (SSO) when accessing your Zoom account.

Starting January 3, 2022, all users who have previously used linked accounts like Google or Facebook to sign in to Zoom, will be prompted to sign in with SSO. When users select this option, they sign in using the same Clarkson CAS and DUO two-factor login process as used in other apps provided by Clarkson, like Moodle, myCU, intranet.clarkson.edu and more. For many users, this update will be transparent as they are already using SSO to sign in to Zoom.

This update is aligned with the campus Information Security Plan, and is recommended by Zoom as a proactive measure to prevent username and password combinations from being stolen or compromised.

Help for single sign-on (SSO) instructions available here.
