UMR United Healthcare (medical) & OptumRx (pharmacy) will cover the cost of at-home over the counter COVID-19 tests for employees on Clarkson’s health care plan effective January 15, 2022.
Key Highlights of Coverage
Preferred retailer for OTC at-home tests is Walmart Pharmacy administered by OptumRx.
- Covers up to 8 tests per member per month.
- Tests are sold in two packs for $24.
Purchase directly at the Walmart Pharmacy counter at no cost to members.
For tests purchased at any in-store or online retailer, Walmart.com or any other Walmart register other than the Walmart Pharmacy counter members will need to submit receipts for reimbursement.
