Major William W. Coleman Memorial Award: Established through a gift by the late Mrs. Virginia Kent Cummins in memory of the heroism of her grandniece’s husband, this award consists of a sum of money for the best poem or essay on ethics: Individual Self-interest Versus the Common Good. The winner’s name will be inscribed on the Major William W. Coleman Memorial Award plaque.
