Clarkson University’s Office of Information Technology wishes to recognize Mona Miller for 38 years of service. Mona first joined the OIT staff in October 1983 as a Key Punch Operator. She has gone on to hold several titles over the years; most recently she has been the OIT Team Lead serving CAMP, Rowley, Cheel, Holcroft, and other key areas of the campus.
As one of few women in IT, she has been a trailblazer for others. She has mentored dozens of student workers over the years and has been a vital component of Clarkson’s IT support by building successful customer relationships with faculty, researchers and staff. Mona’s technical expertise and warm, friendly approach to problem solving contributes to her popularity throughout the Clarkson community.
At her request, there will be no retirement ceremony, but she welcomes the campus community to stop by or send a note to wish her well. Her last day of employment will be June 23, 2022.
