It is our pleasure to introduce Patrick Smalling ‘09 (He, Him, His) as the newest member of the CU Human Resources Team. Patrick will be taking on the integral role of Associate Director of Human Resources with a specific emphasis on Recruitment, Compensation, and Training. He is rejoining CU with 12 plus years of demonstrable expertise in helping organizations attract diverse, high quality applicants, develop future leaders, build best-in-class work cultures through the use of assessment and strategic alignment, and drive breakthrough gains in employee engagement, morale, and retention. Patrick’s expertise aligns with the University initiatives in building a strong recruitment and training program that focuses on diversity and inclusion.
Patrick is returning to CU with numerous professional certifications in Learning and Development along with a BS from Clarkson in Psychology, an MS in Organizational Performance, Leadership, and Technology from SUNY Potsdam, and he is working on his EdD in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
