Call for Nominations for the Reh Family Endowed Professorship in Entrepreneurial Leadership-due October 21, 2022

Purpose of Communication: Call for Nominations for the Reh Family Endowed Professorship in Entrepreneurial Leadership due Friday, October 21, 2022.

We are pleased to announce that we are seeking internal nominations for the Reh Family Endowed Professorship in Entrepreneurial Leadership. Self- nominations are allowed.

Per the donor’s specification, the successful candidate appointed to the Reh Family Endowed Professorship in Entrepreneurial Leadership is to educate the next generation of Clarkson entrepreneurial leaders through this investment in a permanent faculty position with a focus on entrepreneurship.  This position is intended to attract an academician committed to teaching entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship-related courses; contribute to the body of academic and practitioner research on entrepreneurship studies and works closely with providing curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular support to the Reh Center for Entrepreneurship.

The Reh Family Professorship fund will be managed in accordance with the University’s Endowment Spending guidelines, to support the position including compensation, travel, program expenses, and equipment.

The successful candidate will be appointed to serve for a three-year period. The selection process for awarding the Professorship may be found on the Academic Affairs Intranet page https://sites.clarkson.edu/academic-affairs/office-of-the-provost/faculty-affairs/

In this case, the documentation accompanying the gift requires a selection committee appointed by the Dean of the School of Business. The Committee will oversee and administer the search process to identify and recruit suitable candidates to apply for the Reh Family Endowed Professorship in Entrepreneurial Leadership. The committee will vet candidates and make a final recommendation to the Dean who will make the final hiring decision in collaboration with the Interim Provost.

Members of the faculty are encouraged to provide nominating letters for colleagues they wish to have considered for this recognition. Self-nomination is also encouraged.
