“Take a Plate Days” at The Servery: August 22-23

Sodexo and the Institute for a Sustainable Environment have partnered to host “Take a Plate Days” at The Servery in the Student Center during move-in weekend: Friday, August 22 and Saturday, August 23. For these two days, to-go containers will not be available. To-go containers will return to the Servery on Sunday the 24th.

The goal of this initiative is to encourage students to ask for a plate instead of a to-go container, and to make plates the “go-to” option at The Servery instead of to-go containers. Plates can be taken to the ERC or other buildings and returned to the Student Center.

Student Center and ERC garbage cans often fill up quickly with to-go containers, and we’d like to combat this trash problem. ISE staff and interns will be available at the dining hall throughout the day to answer any questions you may have.

STUDENTS: If you are interested in learning about reusable to-go container options, please take this quick survey:

If you have any questions, please contact Evelyn, laferrep@clarkson.edu
