DiMarco Consulting to Offer In-Person Workshop at Clarkson’s Peyton Hall

DiMarco Consulting, who has been holding leadership trainings for almost a decade, is excited to pair up with Maine-based coworking space Anchorspace to provide affordable leadership training to small business owners. The training will take place at Clarkson University on Friday, August 17th, at 3 p.m.

“I often work with large agencies, the government, and educational institutions so I’m excited to make this available to small business owners as well,” says Abrahm DiMarco, Founder of DiMarco Consulting Group.

DiMarco will be giving the workshop at Peyton Hall, part of the Clarkson University campus but the workshop will also be live-cast with participants at Anchorspace in Bar Harbor, Maine.

Anchorspace’s owner Nicole Ouellette met DiMarco at a BAM networking meeting and knew he would be a great person to learn more from.

“As a business owner, you get put in a default leadership position but often you don’t have the skills or experience to navigate issues that come up.” says Ouellette. “At Anchorspace, we can facilitate programming with people all over the world combining our physical space in Bar Harbor with the technology the internet offers. So why not have a workshop with an expert in Potsdam?”

Abrahm DiMarco founded DiMarco Consulting Group following a 21-year military career that included leading both military and civilian teams. His coaching style combines small group discussions, video, and hands-on exercises into a dynamic, interactive learning environment that brings the challenges of leadership to life.  More information can be found on his website (www.dimarcocg.com) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ DiMarcoCG/)

As DiMarco states, “Businesses need leaders at all levels…. Are you and your supervisors prepared to meet the challenges of leading your employees? Can you translate your vision to everyone?’

The workshop will help leaders ensure that communication interactions are successful and long lasting, keeping group members included, responsive, and productive. Multiple studies have shown better leaders translate to better morale, employee satisfaction, productivity, and efficiency. Small businesses don’t often have access to this kind of training and yet it is core to their success as organizations and individuals.

Anchorspace’s Professional Development Workshop mission is to bring quality learning and developmental opportunities to members and small business owners in an affordable and easily accessible way. In addition to the live event, attendees have access to recorded content from the event on Anchorspace’s website.

Workshops are scheduled monthly and cost $25/participant or are free for Anchorspace members (virtual memberships start at $19/month).

“I split my time between Maine and the North Country so this first virtual/live workshop being here makes sense,” says Ouellette. “If this goes well, I see a lot of potential for learning opportunities we haven’t even thought of yet.”

Those wanting to learn more about Anchorspace or register for the workshop can go to www.anchorspace.com/programs or call 207-613-5433 during regular office hours.
