Dear Clarkson Faculty and Staff,
REMINDER: The Clarkson University Libraries will continue our fall workshop series today at 5pm in Rowley Lab 142 or remotely by Adobe Connect with The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: Tips for Evaluating Sources. (To attend remotely please click here.)
Geared toward students, this workshop will answer questions such as what is the difference between a scholarly source and a news source? What is peer review? How do I evaluate sources I find on the web?
This workshop will help answer these questions and ensure your students are using the best sources for their next research project.
Other planned workshop topics include:
-
Getting Published & Avoiding Predatory journals
-
Finding images and multi-media for presentations.
For more details or to view recordings of our past workshops visit: https://libguides.library.
If you would like to offer your students extra credit for attending a session, please email Lisa Hoover at lhoover@clarkson.edu who can take attendance.
