Performance Management Refresher Training

Good Afternoon,

Recently, Human Resources rolled out the University’s enhanced Performance Management and Development tool.  This newly enhanced tool streamlines the process and at the same time provides a mechanism for consistent communication surrounding performance, objectives, and goals.

It also:

  • Allows for flexibility
  • The electronic format allows for the customization based on employees’ role
  • Greater alignment between individual, department and University goals

Performance evaluations are performed three times a year and our final evaluation for this fiscal year is due April 8, 2019. With this in mind, Human Resources will be conducting Performance Management refresher training sessions this week.  The training covers basic performance management and development, strategies on performance management, and hands-on training of the new electronic form; including some upgrades.

If you are a new employee and are unfamiliar with the Performance Management and Development tool, and the electronic evaluation form, it is imperative that you attend a training session.

Thursday, April 4

  • 9:00 am – 10:00 am, Rowley 142
  • All Faculty, All Staff (Potsdam Campus Only)

Friday, April 5

  • 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, Snell Hall 241
  • 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm, CAMP 163
  • All faculty, All Staff (Potsdam Campus Only)
