Please consider donating materials as you move out this Spring. Look for 10’x10’ pop up tents located near all residences. Donations can be dropped off on pallets under these tents. This program diverts tons of material from the landfill each year.
- Friday, May 3rd through Graduation
- Leave It: Donate usable materials under pop-up tents
- Take It: The big tent (30’x30’) will be set up near the ERC by Friday, May 3rd. Materials will be brought there by volunteers.
- What will we take?
- Textiles (dry and clean), high quality for reuse
- Textiles for recycling
- Appliances/electronics that are in working order for donation (hair dryers, microwaves, irons, phones, printers, computers) or…
- Electronic waste for recycling – PLEASE LABEL!!
- Furniture – no broken furniture – no pillows
- Food – Non Perishable, unopened
- Office supplies
- Household goods – No glass
- Volunteers are needed!
- Help deliver materials from the small tents to the main tent
- Sort and help distribute materials in the main tent

- We donate to nonprofits
- We invite nonprofits like Helping Hands, the Humane Society, and churches to take donated materials.
- Anything left over at the end will go to a nonprofit in Syracuse.
