Clarkson Graduate Student Receives Robert W. Carroll Endowed Fellowship

Clarkson graduate student Kevin Susice ’18, of Saint Regis Falls, has recently received the Robert W. Carroll Endowed Fellowship for the 2019-2020 academic year. The fellowship will help Susice cover some of the costs associated with graduate school.

The fellowship was established after Robert “Bob” Carroll’s passing. He was a computer systems analyst at Clarkson University and the fellowship is given to a graduate student enrolled in either physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, biology, or geophysics. Susice is a master’s student in the Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Biotechnology program and plans on graduating this December.

“I knew that Clarkson would be a great place for pushing me academically and helping me reach my career goals. I completed my undergraduate career a semester early, majoring in biomolecular science with a minor in mathematics. After graduating last December, I jumped right into graduate school this past January. With my master’s degree I hope to get a job in genetic engineering,” Susice says.
