What: 15th annual First Saturday
When: From 12-5 p.m. this Saturday, 9/7!
Where: On Market St. downtown – the street will be closed off, so you can’t miss it!
How do I get there: You can walk (it’s less than a mile from campus), or catch our free bus from Cheel to Market Street at 12:15pm and 12:45p.m. Our shuttle bus will run loops between Clarkson, Market Street, Save-A-Lot, and Price Chopper all day! See a passport for the full schedule of bus loops.
Why should I go: To enjoy free musical and dance performances by both SUNY Potsdam and Clarkson groups, free games/activities hosted by student leaders from Potsdam and Clarkson, free giveaways from local businesses, free food samples, business specials, and more!
What’s the passport and how do I get one: Get your free “passport” which lists all participating businesses, performance schedules, and bus schedule. Visit 8 businesses and turn in your passport to enter to win $100, $50, or $25. Plus, the first 300 students to turn in their passport with 8 businesses stamped get $5 on the spot! Passports are available at the Student Center Desk and from all RAs for first-year students.
