Clarkson Students, Faculty, and Staff,
Over the past couple of weeks, Safety & Security has had a few bikes reported stolen from campus. Both SUNY Potsdam and St. Lawrence University have also reported bikes taken from their campus.
While Potsdam, and in particular the Clarkson campus, is generally a safe and secure environment, these type of situations do occasionally occur. As such, bike owners should be mindful while securing your bike by using a “Bar-lock” rather than a chain or cable lock. They cost approximately $12 and cannot be easily removed. Please aid us in keeping the campus safe by reporting anything suspicious to Safety & Security at 315.268.6666.
