Dear Clarkson Faculty and Staff,
The Clarkson University Libraries will continue our workshops series Wednesday, October 23 at 5pm in CAMP 178 or via Adobe Connect with Secrets of Google. Click here to add this session to your Google calendar. Please consider offering your students extra credit to attend.
Just about everyone uses Google, but how much do we really know about it? What are filter bubbles? Can Google be manipulated? How do Google’s algorithms work anyway? Our workshop will discuss these issues, along with some useful Google tools you may not be familiar with.
This fall’s other undergraduate workshops will include:
- Becoming Data Literate – Wednesday, November 20 at 5pm – CAMP 178 or Adobe Connect
For more details or to view recordings of past workshops visit: https://libguides.library.clarkson.edu/c.php?g=844642&p=6037049.
Email Lisa Hoover at lhoover@clarkson.edu to have attendance taken for extra credit.
