Women’s Hockey Hosts Mercyhurst in HockeyFightsCancer Game Today

Owning the nation’s longest current unbeaten streak, Clarkson takes a break from ECAC Hockey play this weekend when it hosts College Hockey America front runner Mercyhurst in a two-game set at Cheel Arena. Both Friday and Saturday games are 2:00 p.m. faceoffs.

Clarkson will be holding #HOCKEY FIGHTS CANCER day on Friday.

The Golden Knights, who have gone 5-0-3 since mid-October, stand at 8-1-3 overall and are ranked 5th in the national polls. Clarkson, is tied for second place in the ECAC Hockey standings with a 3-0-1 mark.

All students, their families and community members are invited to attend the game, wear purple, lavender, pink or baby blue in support of the cause, make a donation, and learn more about ways to reduce their risks and the importance of detecting cancer early. All fans are encouraged to wear purple attire in support of Pancreatic Cancer month and the Hockey Fights Cancer campaign.
