About the Workshop:
Quality Matters is an internationally recognized standard of quality in online education (more about QM at Clarkson). As an institutional member of Quality Matters, Clarkson encourages educators in all disciplines to apply Quality Matters design principles in their courses.
At the Applying the QM Rubric (APPQMR) Workshop, attendees learn about QM’s 8 essential areas and their 42 specific review standard competencies that make for a quality course. Learn to create clear, concise information for your students to rely on, write effective learning objectives, implement alignment, and more. At completion, you will be staged to complete a self review of your course to uncover areas for improvement. This provides a set of action items putting your course on the path to QM certification.
Are you faculty looking for professional development? Want to teach online? Interested in improving your online course?
