North Country Regional Business Plan Competition – Now Accepting Applications
Clarkson University is once again hosting the North Country Regional Business Plan Competition (NCRBPC). The application to register for this important competition is now open and can be accessed either through Ignite’s NCRBPC website or directly via the New York State website.
This year’s event will be held on Friday, April 3, 2020, at Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake, NY. Transportation to and from the event is available to all team members.
If you have any students who are interested in competing at this event, please have them register as soon as possible. We would like to be able to work with them on their pitching skills, etc., to make them as competitive as possible.
Tracks for the 2020 competition are as follows (please see the online competition rulebook for further definitions of each track):
- AgTech & Food
- Energy & Environment
- Military & First Responder
- MedTech & Well-Being
- Technology & Entertainment
- Consumer Products & Services
Awards for each track will be available to students and/or teams competing in the event. The top teams in the regional event are eligible to compete in the New York State finals held in Albany on Friday, May 1, 2020, for additional monetary awards.
