Clarkson Sustainability Club will be hosting Opportunity’s Calling, a series of talks given by Clarkson students who are passionate about creating a more sustainable future. Our first talk will be given Monday, February 24 at noon in Snell 212 by Louisa Ulrich-Verderber.
Renewable Energy: Past, Present, and FutureThough climate change may seem like a daunting crisis, it can also present great opportunities for innovation. Renewable energy, carbon sequestration, and many more technologies have opportunities to expand and improve. In this talk, Louisa Ulrich-Verderber will explain current, emerging, and potential future renewable energy technologies. She will also talk about her own work developing a towerless wind turbine inspired by aquatic life.
