This masterclass will educate participants on the practice of Assertive Inquiry and how to use it to support effective communication for complex topics. Innovation exists at the edges of disciplines and can often be born out of uncomfortable or difficult conversations. These techniques will help you participate in and model inclusive strategizing, conduct conversation around difficult discussions, and think about how to bring all participants into a discussion to fuel better solutions.
Theresa Korbar is the Senior Organizational Development Advisor at San Diego Gas and Electric. In her role, she is responsible for designing organizational and team interventions that support the strategic goals and business objectives of the company. Her typical day might include any or all of the following: training, leadership development, executive coaching, talent management, succession planning, team building, surveys and assessment.
Prior to joining San Diego Gas and Electric, Theresa worked as a Human Resources Consultant with Pinebrook Consulting. Theresa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Saint Vincent College and a Master of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Virginia Tech.
