Perform at Spoken Word Night

Dear faculty and staff,

You are invited to sign up to speak or read at Open Talent Night with the theme of Spoken Word on Thursday, 9/10 from 7-8pm, held virtually. Poetry, slam poetry, rap, hip hop, and all forms of spoken word are welcome!

Spoken word is a piece of creative writing that is best delivered through performance, so it can be a story, poetry, a rap, or some combination. It focuses on the aesthetics of word play and intonation and voice inflection. Watch the following videos for tips on composing a Spoken Word performance:
