CU Going Back to COVID-19 Red Level: Employee & Graduate Student Info

Employees and Graduate Students –

The message below was sent to all students. We are returning to “Red Alert” level and will reassess in ten days.

Faculty and Teaching Assistants

We are asking all instructors who are teaching in person to, as quickly as possible, pivot to online learning with the expectation that ALL learning will be remote by Thursday 8am. Each instructor was asked to include an Instructional Continuity plan in their syllabus and this plan should be followed and students informed that the faculty member is implementing the plan.

Research Assistants

To ensure the safety and health of our community we are asking all graduate research assistants to work remotely with the exception of those performing essential research duties such as animal care, cell culture, etc.  Research assistants should work with their faculty mentor to develop work plans for the coming week.

Staff

All staff approved to work on campus may continue to do so following appropriate COVID safety protocols.

All campus community members

All in person gatherings and group activities are cancelled.

We will be ceasing all visitors to campus until further notice, including persons previously granted access.  Contact ClarksonHR@clarkson.edu to confirm any exceptions.   More communication will be coming tomorrow as we contain and assess current cases.

If you have any questions about this communication, please contact clarksonhr@clarkson.edu and/or me.
