February Shuttle Bus Limited Service

Dear Students on Campus,

In the interest of public health and our precautionary self-quarantine expecting all students to cease all community interactions beyond their immediate family unit, the Clarkson shuttle bus service will not stop on campus until February 22nd. There are services from St. Lawrence County Public Transit in place to accommodate student needs.

First Mile, Last Mile is available through Public Transit to off-campus graduate students in the local community who need to physically come to campus for research or other mandatory graduate work. The drivers for the service will transport people to and from grocery stores, medical appointments or prescription pickups and their places of employment between Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. If students would like to request an appointment, they can schedule this service by calling the Public Transit Dispatch Center at 315-386-2600.

The Arc of St. Lawrence County requests that prior to your ride, you wash your hands per the CDC guidelines–and know that the drivers are following appropriate disinfecting/hand washing protocols.

Students who went home to self-quarantine should be self-isolating.
We value your safety and your patience through these challenges. Please contact Jeff Taylor or Kristen Avery with any questions, concerns, and/or feedback on this service.
